Provides commercial advice to Project Management
Responsible for commercial issues on contracts, subcontract administration including implementation of risk control procedures
Reviews commercial terms of tenders and advises tendering team on internal actions, clarifications / qualifications to clients;
Develops commercial part of subcontracts/supply agreements in coordination with procurement department;
Reviews progress reports submitted by Projects' Managers
Monitor project cashflow forecasts
Provide commercial advice to project management on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing of variations and drafting of correspondence
Establish and/or reinforce a cost monitoring system for each of ESEC-MEP departments to cover, direct and indirect expenditure
Establish/reinforce a cost monitoring system for projects expenditures
Review with projects their cost forecasts for quarterly and annual forecasting of turnover and subsequent results
Review that projects are accurately adjusting forecasts where necessary to reflect variations and time extension delays
Collect/analyze the monthly cost expenditure data from different departments and compare it to the theoretical or budget expenditure, highlight and analyze variants
Collect monthly cost and expenditures data for work force, materials and subcontractor on a monthly basis for each project
Identify any discrepancy between budgeted and actual cost. Provide or ask justification for discrepancies
Prepare a monthly report ‘Macro Level’ to highlight the main elements of the financial findings. In addition, prepare detailed reports for all projects
Prepare the final accounts with Clients & Subcontractors and prepare contractual claims when are required.
Engineering degree is a must (preferably Civil - mechanical and electrical are acceptable too)
A minimum of 15-25 years experience in contracts administration, cost control, quantity surveying, claims...
